Avatars

The Avatars module allows admins to upload and manage avatars that can be assigned to players within the system. These avatars can be used to visually represent players in various parts of the platform, such as on leaderboards, profiles, and in player details.

Uploading a New Avatar

• To access the Avatars module, click on the Avatars option in the left-hand menu of the admin panel.
• On the avatars screen, click the Upload New Avatar button. This will open a window where you can upload a new avatar.
• In the pop-up window, fill in the following fields:
  • Name: A descriptive name for the avatar (e.g., "Smiling Avatar" or "Trophy Icon").
  • Image: Upload the avatar image from your device by either clicking on the field or using drag-and-drop functionality.
• After both fields are filled out, click the save button to upload the avatar. The newly uploaded avatar will now be available for selection in the Players module.

Using Avatars in the Players Module

Once an avatar has been uploaded, it can be assigned to a player in the Players module. When editing a player's profile, admins can select an avatar from the uploaded avatar pool to represent that player.

Avatars in User Profiles (Optional for Players)

If your platform supports a user profile feature for gamification, players themselves can choose an avatar from the available avatar pool. This allows players to customize their profiles with avatars that have been uploaded by the admin. This feature can enhance engagement by allowing users to personalize their experience within the gamification system.
