Player Tags

The Player Tags field is used exclusively for creating challenges that target specific predefined tags.
Only users who have been assigned these tags will be able to see and participate in the created challenges. Users who do not fall into the specified tags will not see the challenge at all.

How it Works

In this field, you can manually input the tags that correspond to the user segments you want to target. These tags must already be defined in both your system and our system to ensure they align properly.
If needed, you can remove a tag by clicking the X button next to it.

For example, if you want to create a challenge that is only visible to VIP customers, you would manually enter the “VIP” tag in the Player Tags field.
The system will then apply the challenge conditions specific to users tagged as VIPs, while other users will not see the challenge.

Steps to Use Player Tags

  1. Click on the Player Tags field.
  2. Start typing the desired tag(s) (e.g., VIP, New User, Frequent Buyer). These tags must already be predefined in the system.
  3. If you enter a wrong tag, click the X button next to it to remove the tag.
  4. You can input multiple tags to target multiple user groups.
  5. After entering the tags, configure the corresponding points or rewards in the Tag Points section if different rewards are to be given to users with specific tags.

Example Use Case

Let’s say you want to set up a challenge for an e-commerce platform where standard users earn 100 points for completing the challenge, but VIP users earn 200 points.

  • In the Player Tags field, manually enter the tag VIP.
  • In the Points section, enter the points you want to award, for example, 100.

In this scenario, only users with the VIP tag will see the challenge, while standard users will not have access to it.

Considerations

  • Tag Restriction: Ensure the tags you input match the tags predefined in your system. Only users with these tags will see the challenge.
  • Multiple Tags: You can enter multiple tags to target various user segments at once. If a user qualifies for more than one tag, they will see the challenge if they meet any of the specified tags.
  • Tag Management: If needed, you can modify or remove tags after the challenge is created by returning to the challenge settings.

Example Tags

  • VIP: Customers who have spent over a certain amount.
  • New User: Users who have signed up within the last 30 days.
  • Frequent Buyer: Customers who make frequent purchases.

Best Practices

  • Use tags to make your challenges more personalized and engaging for different user groups.
  • Double-check the spelling of tags to ensure they correspond to the ones already defined in your system.

Info

You can add or remove tags when creating a challenge, and tags can be edited at any time by modifying the challenge settings.
